What's Our Story?
Originally developed as a small scale farm in the mid-1970's, Birch Meadows has undergone various changes over the past three decades.

The original farm family raised cows and angora goats, and cultivated hay in the two fields near the Lodge.

Since 2000, Birch Meadows has been owned by the Johannsson family, who transformed the property into a beautiful bed and breakfast hide-a-way. The B&B is currently operated and managed by Sonya and Marcel Erzinger.

The special history adds to the charm of this unique property. Birch Meadows Lodge B&B is in full operation and attracts outdoor enthusiasts on a year-round basis.

Who Are Your Hosts?
Marcel and Sonya are passionately committed to making your stay at Birch Meadows a delight . Originally from Switzerland , they bring a European touch that adds to the magic of your stay. They have over 15 years of hospitality experience having worked in British Columbia at the Ten-ee-ah Lodge in Lac La Hache and at the Lizard Creek Lodge in Fernie.
